Our Bainbridge, NY facility serves as the central hub for local distribution and assembly of advanced solar hot water systems, including tanks and energy transfer stations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse & Assembly Line Manager  to oversee warehouse and assembly operations while remaining hands-on with day-to-day tasks. This role is ideal for a career-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both leadership and operational responsibilities.

As a Working Manager, you will supervise the team, coordinate logistics, and actively participate in warehouse tasks such as order picking, crate building, truck loading/unloading, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-On Leadership: Participate in order picking, crate building, loading/unloading trucks, and managing inventory.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse and assembly staff to maintain efficiency and morale.
• Stock Management: Maintain accurate and organized inventory records in company systems.
• Shipping & Receiving: Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Crate Building: Construct and prepare shipping crates for large items to ensure product safety.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with sales, administration, and purchasing teams to meet order fulfillment deadlines.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; manage facility and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in supervising or managing teams, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Hands-On Approach: Comfortable performing operational tasks alongside the team.
• Forklift Certification: Valid certification and experience with forklift operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation.
• Mechanical Skills: Experience building crates, packaging, and handling large-scale products is desirable.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain accurate stock.
• Physical Capability: Able to lift and move heavy items, work in varying conditions, and remain on feet for extended periods.
